Boy, 13, charged with murder of man, 23, shot dead in west London

- Four people have since been charged with murder in connection with his death

- A 16-year-old boy and Jamie Ayres, 46, are also due at the Old Bailey this week
A 13-year-old boy has been charged with murder after a man was shot dead in west London.
Shakur Hassan, 23, was killed in Austin Road, Hayes, on October 13 last year, while a burnt-out car was found a few miles away.
Police were called to reports of a shooting and officers attended along with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service.

Shakur was found with gunshot injuries and, despite the best efforts of medics, the 23-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
Scotland Yard said a 13-year-old boy, who cannot be named because of his age, has been charged with murder and perverting the course of justice.
He is due to appear at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday along with Guled Hassan, 21, from Southall, who is also charged with murder.
A 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named, and Jamie Ayres, 46, from Northolt, are due to appear at the Old Bailey this week charged with murder.
