Elon Musk and Grimes, who have a child together, have broken up after three years.
The billionaire confirmed that he and the electronic pop singer are ‘semi-separated’ but plan to co-parent their 1-year-old son, according to Page Six.
‘We are semi-separated but still love each other, see each other frequently and are on great terms,’ Musk said.
The SpaceX founder explained, ‘It’s mostly that my work at SpaceX and Tesla requires me to be primarily in Texas or traveling overseas and her work is primarily in LA. She’s staying with me now and Baby X is in the adjacent room.’
The A-list couple were spotted together a few weeks ago when they attended the Met Gala. Grimes walked the red carpet alone and met Musk inside.

Musk and Grimes were first reported to be dating in May 2018 and welcomed their first child together in May 2020. Musk has six other children.
