As a member of a historic royal house with a glittering career in finance and invites to star-studded events, Prince Wenceslas of Liechtenstein has plenty to offer a potential partner.
Yet the 46-year-old has struggled to find ‘the one’.
Wenceslas, son of private banker Prince Philipp of Liechtenstein and nephew of the reigning Prince Hans-Adam II, has never married or had children, unlike his equally dashing brothers Alexander and Rudolf.
The London-based royal’s last public relationship was almost 20 years ago, when he dated stunning Victoria’s Secret Angel Adriana Lima, now 40, for three years.

The romance landed the young couple on New York’s society pages and led to the royal being nicknamed ‘Prince Wence’ by the tabloid press.
In the decades since, he as been snapped with a string of glamorous women, including Sports Illustrated model Barbara Palvin, 28, and rubbed shoulders with the likes of Tom Cruise and Princess Victoria of Sweden at glitzy galas.
But it seems lasting love remains elusive.
Now, after an outing with yet another beautiful blonde in London on Monday night, FEMAIL delves into the private life of Europe’s playboy prince…
A FAMILY STEEPED IN ROYAL HISTORY

Founded more than 300 years ago, the Princely House of Liechtenstein gives its name to the tiny European nation.
All living members are descendants of its founder, Prince Johann I, who was granted admission to the Confederation of the Rhine in 1806 by Napoleon, in a move that laid the foundation for sovereignty.
The issue of sovereignty remains important to the nation, which has a population of just 38,137 and measures just 15 miles from east to west.
The reigning Prince Hans-Adam II is particularly committed to Liechtenstein’s independent foreign policy. Under his leadership, Liechtenstein joined the United Nations Organisation (UNO) in 1990 and the European Economic Area (EEA) in 1995.
He has three sons and a daughter. The eldest, Prince Alois, 54, is heir to the Liechtenstein throne.
A FINANCIER FATHER AND SOCIETY BEAUTY MOTHER

As the second-born son of the reigning prince, Philipp, Wenceslas’s father, had to forge his own path in life.
He studied at the University of Bonn and the University of Basel, before joining the board of directors for the LGT Group, a private private banking and asset management group owned by the Princely House of Liechtenstein.
He has been chairman of the group, which has 3,000 employees, since 2001.
Philipp married Belgian aristocrat Isabelle de L’Arbre de Malander in 1971. A great beauty of her age, Isabelle de L’Arbre de Malander once covered Paris Match magazine alongside her three young sons.
Although close to all of her children, it is Wenceslas with whom she most frequently attends black tie galas and charity events, perhaps owing to the fact that her other two sons are married.
Prince Alexander married Astrid Barbara Kohl in 2003 and the pair share a daughter, Princess Theodora, 16, an environmentalist and founder of the Green Teen Team wildlife project.
Meanwhile Prince Rudolf shares two daughters and a son with his Turkish-born wife, Ilhan Tılsım Tanberk.
A MODEL ROMANCE

Prince Wenceslas’s most notable relationship to date was with Brazilian Victoria’s Secret Angel Adriana Lima, now 40.
The couple dated between 2003 and 2006 and became fixtures on the New York social scene – and in the pages of the gossip magazines. Passionately in love, Wenceslas and Adriana were often photographed kissing or with their arms wrapped around each other.

Even at stuffy black tie events, the couple were more than happy packing on the PDA in front of the cameras.
The relationship gave birth to a tabloid nickname for Wenceslas – Prince Wence – but ultimately ended after three years. Lima went on to marry basketball player Marko Jarić in 2009.
In the years since, Wenceslas has been spotted with a string of glamorous young women at events, including Sports Illustrated model Barbara Palvin, 28, but it is not known if any of his relationships have been serious.
FOLLOWING HIS FATHER INTO FINANCE
A graduate of Paris Dauphine University, Wenceslas followed his father into finance.
He began a career in finance working in Goldman Sachs’s equity division, before moving to the US conglomerate General Electric, working in the firm’s in-house M&A function. He later moved into corporate finance advisory.
In 2016, he was named chief executive of London fund manager Dalton Strategic Partnership. He left the company in February 2021.

Although Wenceslas prefers not to post about his private life – his Instagram account is private and has just a handful of followers – the prince continues to crop up at royal weddings and charity events.
He has attended fundraisers at the Louvre, partied at a private event at the Palace of Versailles and met Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes at the 2007 Vanity Fair Oscars party.
On Monday, Wenceslas brought along his glamorous blonde date to the Art of Wishes Gala at Natural History Museum.
The gala, founded by Make-A-Wish UK Patron, Batia Ofer, in 2017, brings together the world of art and wishes to raise life-changing funds for Make-A-Wish UK.
It remains to be seen whether his elegant date has won his heart, but they certainly cut a handsome couple on the red carpet.
