George Clooney, his wife Amal and their four-year-old twins Ella and Alexander are currently in the Whitsundays as he films his new movie, Ticket To Paradise.

And while it’s believed the family are staying at the state-of-the-art Papillon mansion on Hamilton Island, they’re also thought to be spending time onboard the incredibly luxurious 82-feet Alani superyacht as the actor travels to and from set.

The jaw-dropping five-star vessel can accommodate up to six guests overnight, and features a sprawling lounge area with a huge TV and a dining setting for eight.

While it’s not thought to be the Clooney family’s main place of residence for their stay Down Under, they are believed to be using the superyacht to travel in style – or to spend time together when George isn’t filming.

George, Amal and the twins are said to be staying at Hamilton Island’s Papillon house; a seven bedroom, seven bathroom mansion designed by renowned architect Chris Beckingham.

Set on the quiet northern end of the island, Papillon is a short buggy ride to all of the island’s key attractions.

The Beach House features a main bedroom and en-suite bathroom, a spacious entertaining area, 10-person dining room and a 12-metre infinity edge private pool.

It also features a well-appointed separate guesthouse for friends or family.

In Ticket to Paradise, George and Julia play a divorced couple who travel to Bali in a desperate bid to stop their daughter, played by Kaitlyn Dever, from getting married.

The movie will be filmed entirely in Queensland, with the picturesque Whitsundays doubling for Bali.
