They are believed to have grown close while filming The Girl Before, a four-part adaptation of the JP Delaney novel in which two women live in an ultra-minimalist house with restrictive rules laid down by an enigmatic architect.

It also stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw, 38, and David Oyelowo, 45.
Miss Plummer, 29, played Chantelle Atkins in EastEnders while 30-year-old Hardy played Ian Beale’s son Peter.
They were spotted kissing next to a taxi in London’s Soho this week.
The Girl Before starts on Sunday at 9pm on BBC1.
