Four teenagers have appeared in court charged with manslaughter after allegedly chasing a 42-year-old man until he plummeted to his death in Kent.

Tyrese Scott, 18, a 17-year-old boy and two 16-year-old boys appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday charged with causing the death of Dale Simmons.

Dylan Bradshaw, prosecuting, told the court that Mr Simmons was walking with his partner near Chalk Pitt Hill at around 7pm on Wednesday, April 13, when he came across the four boys.

One of the boys shouted to the others to grab Mr Simmons – and he fled from the scene, the court heard.
